Born in New Delhi in 1970, Sharon Gupta graduated with English Honours from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi in 1990 and then acquired a Master’s Degree in English Literature from Delhi University. She joined the Civil Services in 1994 and is currently posted in a field office under the Ministry of Communications in Chandigarh. She is married and has a teenage son.
Sharon began writing stories from her childhood and she was Student Editor of her College magazine. Her articles and short stories have been featured in The Times of India newspaper, The Rock Street Journal magazine and Femina magazine. Her first novel Riders on the Storm was self-published in October 2000 and it received positive reviews. Her multicultural romanceToofani Days, Valentine Nights was published as an ebook in 2012 and her short thriller Jaipur Estate is currently available as an ebook on freeditorial.com. Sharon’s Elizabethan thriller The Shakespeare Murders is soon to be released by Tara Books. She is represented by the Red Ink Literary Agency.
