Sharon Shefali Gupta is a Delhi-based Civil Servant and writer. She graduated with English Honours from St. Stephen's College, Delhi and acquired a Master's Degree in English Literature from Delhi University. In College, she was student editor of the in-house magazine 'The Stephanian'. She was also a member of the Shakespeare Society and Music Society. Over the years Sharon's articles and short stories have appeared in leading Indian newspapers and magazines like 'The Times of India', 'Femina', 'The Asian Age' and 'The Rock Street Journal'.
In October 2000 Sharon's first novel an historical thriller 'Riders on the Storm' was published by Booklinks Corporation, Hyderabad. It received excellent reviews in the press. In 2009 her multicultural romance novel, 'Toofani Days, Valentine Nights' was published as an ebook by Life of Riley Productions, UK. It is showcased on the site www.abook2read.com and it's the most viewed novel out of the hundred odd books there. In December 2000 Sharon's second multicultural romance novel, 'The Marine and the Indian Rose' was published by Publish America and it's currently available in the US only. She has another complete novel which is due to be published soon and she's working on her next project.
Sharon is married and she has a young son. Her other interests, apart from writing, include reading, singing and playing the Spanish guitar. She leads a full and busy life.
